Rutherglen Estate
Located on one of the first bends as you head west out of town, Rutherglen Estates it is not your typical cellar door with views over-looking the vineyard but never the less it has an excellent range of wines with some more unusual varieties such as an Arneis, Nebbiolo and Zinfandel. The service at this cellar door was professional, friendly and knowledgeable.
A diverse range of wines was on offer and anyone wishing to experience many grape varieties will benefit from a visit to Rutherglen Estates. Don’t miss out on trying the Marsanne, Viognier blend or the Mourvedre, Shiraz Grenache blend.

We enjoy Rutherglen Estate wines but have not visited the cellar door. The casual cafe, fine dining restaurant and wine bar, Tuillieries are a must in the region, which do a great job of showcasing the wineries’ selection of wines.
